Current State
The vault is a folder of markdown files with YAML frontmatter. One concept per page. Current State on top, History below, Open Questions at the bottom. Every page carries an owner agent and a decay rate. The indexes in schema/indexes/ are rebuilt nightly from frontmatter.
Namespaces: personal, work, ventures, sensitive, external, agents, meta.
Privacy tiers: plaintext (default), tokenized (sensitive/), sealed (.sealed.md). See FORGE_SPEC.md at the repo root.
History
- 2026-04-07: Phase 2 scaffold. Vault tree created. Empty namespaces seeded with placeholder READMEs so lint and index builders don't choke on missing paths.
Open Questions
- Decay-rate defaults per page type are guesses. Real defaults emerge from use.
